Share Your PICA Story
Through the Roots Caravan, PICA celebrates the art of the story. Stories serve to reflect a culture’s values and as reference for different points in time. A community’s joys, fears, political realities, religious landscapes, and social norms are woven into every tale from every point in our past.
Our work has covered decades and is a reflection of what our Rhode Island was like at the time. That story is important to us, and that’s where you come in.
PICA has been made possible by every single person that has joined us for a program, volunteered or shown with us, or made a connection through us. Did you attend the Florentine Faire? Go to a show at Roots? Ride a bike in the Great Race? Bring your child to the Salute to Children? Show a piece in one of our exhibits?
You are a part of our story, and we’d love to hear it.
